THE DAYLESFORD FOUNDATION KEY PEOPLE

Daylesford Foundation is steered by a small group of people, all intent on achieving its aims.  At the healm we have the trustees, who serve as the governing body of the Foundation.  Advising the Trustees is the Grants Board, which has recently been created to advise on the allocation of grant funding.  The officers manage the administration of meetings, grants and projects.

Ewan Venters
Ewan VentersMember of Grants Board
As CEO of Hauser & Wirth, and formerly of Fortnum & Mason and Selfridges, Ewan lends valuable and wide ranging perspective to the Board.  His own entrepreneurial force and love of food was born in Fife, where at the age of 11 he was already selling buns and cakes.  Sustainable food has to sell, so we are excited by Ewan’s influence on the board to identify those projects that have both impact but are also enticing and have an economically viable future.
