It is with great excitement that we announce our support for three new projects.  Strong submissions were received from a number of applicants but three stood out to our Grants Board, and have since received the funding required to get the projects underway.

School Food Matters and The Country Trust were successful in their small grant applications; both projects are engaging schools to get their pupils growing, cooking and visiting farms. With the third grant, our existing relationship with Garden Organic goes from strength to strength. Garden Organic’s expertise in food growing and education convinced the Foundation’s Grants Board that a project to facilitate young enterprise was worthy of support. The project will focus on helping 14 to 18 year olds, particularly those with learning and behavioural difficulties, to develop key skills in practical horticulture and business enterprise.

Keep an eye on our blog to find out more about our new projects; there will be more news soon.
